AD2NMEA
AD2NMEA (Analog and Digital To NMEA) is module allows to convert standard voltage or current signals to communication protocols. Various sensors are not suitable for marine applications and needs to be converted to digital data and then to be transmitted to external system or observed on digital display. Most sensors have an output voltage range of +/- 10V or more reliable and more resistant to interference current output 4-20mA.
AD2NMEA gives you possibility to convert both analog values to digital NMEA protocol and then to be send to any navigational device or system. Many devices generate binary signals (0 or 1) which is used to give information about device status (eg. open, closed, working, failure etc). Therefore AD2NMEA converter is equipped with four built-in digital channels to be converted also to protocols NMEA-0183 or RS485 – Modbus Slave
