ORP Hevelius with new echosounder
On behalf of the Naval Port Command in Gdynia, Enamor has delivered a new multibeam echosounder to ORP Hevelius. The delivery and acceptance protocol for the device mounted on the upgraded ship was signed on November 13, 2017, ahead of the contractual deadline.
The delivery of a multibeam sonar to ORP Hevelius, carried out by Enamor, has been successfully completed ahead of schedule. The two new devices installed on the Navy ship, Sonic 2022, were manufactured by R2Sonic, whose partner in Poland is Enamor. You could get acquainted with R2Sonic's offer at this year's BALTEXPO, where its representative Chris Sabo visited the Enamor company's stand.
The replacement of the sonar took place at the Naval Shipyard. For the duration of the repair work, the ship was docked using an elevator.
ORP Hevelius returned to service in November 2017.
