ORP Kormoran with delivery from Enamor company
During the celebration of the 99th anniversary of the establishment of the Navy, a newly built mine destroyer - ORP "Kormoran" - was put into service. Enamor, a Gdynia-based company, supplied the ship with an integrated navigation system, cryptographic equipment and a hydrophone.

The first new Navy vessel in many years was handed over to the 8th Coastal Defense Flotilla by Shipbuilding Repair Yard, which carried out the project. Enamor supplied the ship with equipment including an integrated navigation system from Raytheon Anschuetz GmbH, a hydrophone manufactured by Wartsila ELAC Nautik GmbH and cryptographic equipment.
The ORP Kormoran's main tasks include searching for, classifying and identifying sea mines and destroying them. The ship is also to guide other vessels and ships through mine threat areas and conduct mine defense.
The mine destroyer was put into service during the celebration of the 99th anniversary of the Navy.
