Development of ship performance assessment tools in E-Vessel Tracker
Evaluating the efficiency of ship operations has become the focus of our customers' attention. In response to market demand, the development of E-Vessel Tracker has been focused on this problem. Recently, the group of analytical tools available in the Performance tab has been updated to allow comparison of a vessel's current efficiency with user-defined reference conditions. To facilitate this task, the Power/Speed and Power/RPM charts show operating points corrected to reference conditions. In addition, the corrected points can be interpolated. Comparison of the distance between the interpolating curve (gray dashed line) and the reference curve (green solid line) allows power gains to be determined due to degradation in ship performance.
